Me & MyCity is a Global Best Awards Winner!

The International Partnership Network (IPN) has rewarded Me & MyCity as the Overall Global Thematic Winner in Global Best Awards in Oslo, Norway. Me & MyCity was awarded in the category of Partnerships Which Build Learning Communities. The learning concept aimed at sixth and ninth graders has been awarded several times nationally and internationally as well.

Me & MyCity is visited annually by 45 000 schoolchildren in eight different regions in Finland, and it reaches over 70 per cent of the Finnish sixth-graders. Me & MyCity is based on the new Finnish core curricula, which contains areas in entrepreneurship and working life competencies. The learning environment is strongly grounded on partnerships with diverse societal organizations.

– Me & MyCity learning concept is built in great co-operation with organizations from different sectors. Partnerships are one of the main components of Me & MyCity. Global Best Awards

The Global Best Awards are awarded by the International Partnership Network (IPN). The IPN is a non-profit organization that aims to improve the learning and teaching of employability skills of young individuals by building partnerships across the world.
